Description

As part of our training, You will receive all material for the class and the shooting range (eye protection, ear protection, targets, and range fees). All you need to bring is your firearm and ammo.

After completion of training we will provide you with ALL paperwork needed to apply for your CCW with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The course of instruction includes (but it is not limited to) the following:

• Basic firearm knowledge and the safe handling of firearms.
• Ammunition knowledge and the safe handling of ammunition.
• Cleaning and the care of firearms.
• Storage and child proofing firearms.
• Handgun shooting techniques and positions.
• Laws pertaining to the use of firearms in the State of Nevada, and the County in which the application is submitted.
• Use of deadly force, the force continuum, civil and criminal liability.
• Avoiding criminal attack and controlling a violent confrontation.
• Firing a handgun and range safety.

 

Class Schedule:

• Theory: From 4pm To 10pm (16:00 – 22:00) – Week evenings
• Range: From 8am to 12pm (08:00 – 12:00) – Weekends
  • The Range portion of this class will be scheduled during the Theory portion.
  • You will have the opportunity to pick a Saturday or a Sunday that is convenient for you.
  • The Range portion date/time will be subject to the range schedule and weather conditions.
